Cristina Aldo
ABOUT
CRISTINA ACTIS-ALDO is currently in her fourth year studying Vocal Performance from Oakland University. She started studying music by taking violin lessons with Anna Weller then in her later years with Juilliard graduate and America's Got Talent contestant Sonia Lee.
She began her dance career at Deborah’s Stage Door and then competitively at Gotta Dance studio. Aldo attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School where she was involved in the choirs (Women’s Chorus, Chamber choir), musicals/plays (Cinderella, Footloose, The Little Mermaid, The Plot Like Gravy Thickens, Tony n’ Tina's Wedding) and vocalist in the Jazz Band. Before attending Oakland University, she studied jazz piano/voice with Scott Gwinnell.
At OU Cristina has been a part of: University Chorus, Chorale, Opera, Symphony Chorus, and the Golden Grizzly Jazz Singers. She has studied voice with Stella Actis-Aldo, Aaron Caruso, Athena Johnson, Stephanie Michaels, John-Paul White, and Alta Boover. She is an excellent crossover artist skilled in varying genres.
