ABOUT
CRISTINA ACTIS-ALDO earned her degree from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She started studying music by taking violin lessons with Anna Weller then in her later years with Juilliard graduate and America's Got Talent contestant Sonia Lee.
She began her dance career at Deborah’s Stage Door and then danced competitively for ten years at Gotta Dance studio. Before attending Oakland University, she studied jazz piano/voice with Scott Gwinnell.
At OU, Cristina was greatly involved in all aspects of the music department: University Chorus, Chorale, Opera, Symphony Chorus, and the Golden Grizzly Jazz Singers. She was a finalist in the Concerto Competition, and was apart of the Midwest Premiere of Will Healy's Noctuary for Adé with Pamela Klena's Symphonic Band.
The official studio recording voice of Candy in Dave Nettleman's musical comedy Gearheads as well as Grace in the live action 2024 premiere. She has studied voice with Stella Actis-Aldo, Aaron Caruso, Athena Johnson, Stephanie Michaels, John-Paul White, and Alta Boover. She is an excellent crossover artist skilled in varying genres.
